"Hi, Everyone:

<>The Furious Flower Poetry Center at James Madison University is planning a major
(national) poetry conference for college student poets in Spring 2009. Ive been
tinkering with topics and sessions and would */love /*your input. This conference
should speak to*/ you/*, about topics that interest/pain/speak to you. Ive written
down a few ideas, but I can cut any or all of them loose without batting an eye. Its
really important to me that the conference be for and about college students; not
about what the traditional textbooks think is important. <>

<>So, if you were going to spend three days at a poetry writing, work-shopping, and
reading your poetry conference, and if you had some really exciting, emerging poets
to work with you as faculty, what would you want to learn about? What would you want
to write about? What would you want to do? What should this conference give you that
you cant get easily anyplace else? <>

interested in your original ideas.

Im working on some grants, so if you could give me an answer by Friday that would be
terrific.
